Her New Knife has released their new single ‘lyre’.

This is the first new song released by this band, which started out in the Philadelphia indie scene, after releasing the EP 'chrome is lullaby' on the Julia's War label in 2024.

Frontman Edgar Atencio explained that this song, which started out as a classical guitar arrangement, served as an opportunity to finish the album, and that the drums are a love letter to UNKLE and Massive Attack.

The band heads out on tour for Slow Pulp, starting November 9th with a performance at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C.
